Cookies for days!

But a little taste test for us first.  Nothing beats a chocolate chip cookie fresh outta the oven with a glass of cold milk.  Yum!

simply wonderful chocolate chip cookies
ingredients
3 1/2 c flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 1/2 sticks softened unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 c dark brown sugar
1 c granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla
1 tsp fresh ground cinnamon
1 bag (or more if you like them loaded with chocolate) semi-sweet chocolate chips
directions
1. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
2. In a large bowl (or in your KitchenAid) beat butter and sugars on a medium speed until light and fluffy.  Lower the speed and mix in the eggs, one at a time.  Mix in the vanilla.  Slowly add the dry mix until blended.  Fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough about 30 minutes before baking.
3. Preheat oven to 350.  Using a small spoon, drop dough onto a baking sheet.  Bake for 17-20 minutes rotating sheet about halfway through.  Let cool and enjoy!  (Yields approximately 24 cookies give or take depending on how big or small you like your cookies.)
